Would you like to contribute to the Expo Goody Bags for the first 50 people? All contributions must be made on Wednesday 25th July at The Impact Workshop.
Would you like to join the Food & Wine Enclosure Ticket. Each ticket has logos printed on it where the ticket holder will find your stand for you to stamp/hole-punch your logo for them to receive a free sample/gift/voucher/etc. Encourages direct engagement with audiences.
Have you accessed the Dropbox folder with your PR Pack & promotional material and promoted your presence across your networks and social media?
Have you recorded your selfie promotion for our social media? Please see instructions in your email and refer to our social media for examples.
Do you need power? There is limited power at the venue and this necessity will determine your place on the floorplan (most likely on the inside walls)
Would you like a Pebbles Parties Balloon Installation at your space?
We have loads of food spaces available at the expo, but we also have lunch packages available from The Federal Mills Cafe that will deliver your food. Please select.



All Market Spaces are required to bring their own table (and if desired, table cover).

All Exhibitors in Single and Double spaces are provided with a 1.8m x .8m table and white table cover. You’re entire allocated space is 2m x 2m for single and 2m x 4m for a double. If you do not require a table, please us know ASAP so as we can position you in a central point of the expo to compliment your space set-up.

All expo spaces will be provided with one chair. If you wish to bring in your own chairs or stools, please feel free to do so.


All spaces must be kept tidy and all stock and supporting items MUST be kept tidy and in a storage container underneath your table, or returned to your car. An Expo Team Member will oversee the floor in this respect.

Displays must stay within the confines of the space allocated, must not impede aisles and walkways, or block exits. This includes cabinets, shelving, display cases, tables, stock containers, stages and equipment.


Please ensure that your stock can be moved by hand or bring an appropriate trolley. Any damage caused by an Exhibitor or their Staff, or by items affixed to the venue doors, glass, floors etc will create a removal, cleaning and/or resurfacing cost charged to the exhibitor.

No sale or spruiking can occur outside the boundaries of your space (including outside the venue, or in Aisles, workshop spaces or thoroughfares) without prior approval..


The official opening time of the Pivot City Geelong Business Expo is 1000hrs 10am on the day of the event. Bump in for Exhibitors commences from 0800hrs (8am) in which you are able to access the venue to cart in your items for your space. All expo spaces MUST be set up and ready to go at opening time of (1000hrs) 10am.

The official closing time of the Pivot City Geelong Small Business Expo is (1600) 4pm on the day of the event. No dismantling of displays is permitted until the site is cleared of visitors and Geelong Women in Business makes the appropriate announcement. This is to ensure the safety of the general public still occupying the space.

Bump out commences at (1600) 4pm and no earlier.

Please note that all goods/property must be removed from the premises Saturday evening or have freight forwarding pick-up confirmations.


You have been sent a Dropbox Folder Link that hosts the Expo PR Pack and Marketing Material. We ask that you use this branding across your Social Media and Online Channels when promoting the Expo.

It's really great for guests and attendees to put a face (or a team) to a name and would like to offer all businesses the opportunity to do a selfie video promotion on our social media pages.

Hold that camera up in front of you and say something like this:

"Hello, it's {name} from {business name}. We are so excited/looking forward to exhibiting at the Pivot City Geelong Business Expo on Saturday the 28th July. Come down and see us between 10am-4pm. It's free entry and over a hundred local businesses to discover. See you then!"

Please feel free to customise however you wish. This is not compulsory, but encouraged and welcomed to promote across our channels and yours.

We will have a number of professional photographers present on the day, as well as a number of media representatives. All photographs and video material will be available to all exhibitors thanks to our amazing sponsors and contributors. The Dropbox Folder will be updated will all promotional material after the date.

There is so much happening in the month of August with the Geelong Small Business Festival.

As we are kicking off the festival, we will be asking all attendees at the end of the event to use their phones to jump onto the site to complete the feedback survey to go into win a SurfacePro.

Drop off is Wednesday 25th July at the Impact Workshop 58/54 Corio St, Geelong between 9am-4pm.

Otherwise, you're welcome to sneak in your items on the day. This will be up to you to put in each bag.


If you are contributing to the ticket, please email your logo to by Sunday night and we will include you on the ticket.

Be sure to have a pen, stamp or hole puncher at your stand.


The tickets are going to print on Monday.

Is the expo open to the general public to come in and view the exhibits or is this an opportunity for businesses to network amongst each other?

The expo is an opportunity for both! We have a fantastic culture and great focus on the B2B in the room on the day and strongly encourage networking and collaboration, but we also campaign for local residents to come and support local businesses by learning about what’s on offer as well as shopping where they can on the day. We have a number of initiatives to drive foot traffic into the expo including a Food & Wine Enclosure, a Fashion Show and a Wellness Arena.

How much does it cost to enter the expo?

The Pivot City Geelong Business Expo is FREE with the volunary option to donate to Vinnie's upon entry.

Are we allowed to have balloons, including helium balloons?

Yes, you are allowed to have all kinds of balloons at the event to decorate your space. We have the wonderful team from Pebbles Parties on board who can help you with balloon decoration if you wish. Email Bek at

Will we receive a floor plan indicating where in the venue we are placed?

Yes, you will receive a floor plan closer to the date outlining where your stand is within the expo. Please note, this floorplan is a guide only and is subject to change, if necessary.
